The Story
A Garden, Worked in Wool
Shoal carries a full crewel-style vine: leaves, blooms and tendrils worked in relief across a scalloped oval field, dense enough at the centre to read as a medallion and looser toward the fringed edge.
Marshmallow and Rose Smoke keep the vine pale and warm, the floral medallion barely darker than the cream ground it sits on.

Made to soften, deepen, and stay.
Wool, woven over 6 to 10 weeks at our Jaipur atelier. Tones may drift subtly across a piece. That drift is the maker's handwriting, and it deepens beautifully with years of light.
- Do not brush or scrub the rug.
- Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using the vacuum's beater brush mode.
- If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
- Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
- Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
- If a thread comes loose, do not pull the yarn. Trim it with scissors instead.
- Periodic professional cleaning is recommended.
