Hand-Knotted: The heirloom rhythm
A thirty-year companion asks for very little, regularly.
Rotate
Twice a year, with the seasons: light and footfall even out.
Vacuum
Gently, no beater bar. Once a week is plenty.
Sunlight
Natural fibres mellow beautifully in daylight, but rotate to keep the mellowing even.
Spills
Blot at once with a dry cloth. Never rub, never soak.
Storage
Rolled around a core, never folded. Breathable cotton wrap.
Deep clean
Professional hand-washing every 3 to 4 years. It returns looking rested.
