Niraya is the boldest piece in the wool line: vertical blocks of rust, sage, dusty blue, burgundy and cream, laid edge to edge with no attempt to soften the transitions.
Keeping five colours in one width means five separate yarns are live on the loom at once; the weaver carries each one across only as far as its own block, then leaves it hanging until the next row calls for it again.

Made to soften, deepen, and stay.
Wool, woven over 5 to 6 weeks at our Jaipur atelier. Tones may drift subtly across a piece. That drift is the maker's handwriting, and it deepens beautifully with years of light.
- Do not brush or scrub the rug.
- Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using the vacuum's beater brush mode.
- If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
- Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
- Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
- If a thread comes loose, do not pull the yarn. Trim it with scissors instead.
- Periodic professional cleaning is recommended.
