The Story
A Line, Interrupted
Mehr is built from a close taupe pinstripe (quiet, almost tonal) interrupted at intervals by a small maroon triangle, like a mark left mid-sentence.
The restraint is deliberate: most of the rug is worked in two close shades of the same neutral, so the maroon accents carry more weight for how rarely they appear.

Living with it
Made to soften, deepen, and stay.
Wool, woven over 5 to 6 weeks at our Jaipur atelier. Tones may drift subtly across a piece. That drift is the maker's handwriting, and it deepens beautifully with years of light.
- Do not brush or scrub the rug.
- Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using the vacuum's beater brush mode.
- If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
- Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
- Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
- If a thread comes loose, do not pull the yarn. Trim it with scissors instead.
- Periodic professional cleaning is recommended.
