The Story
Patched at the Warp
Naksh reads like patchwork, but nothing here is stitched together after the fact. Every colour field is woven directly into the body of the rug, block by block, as the loom moves across the width.
Mustard, blush and sand sit edge to edge with no border to separate them, so the boundary between colours is a woven line, not a seam: soft at close range, sharp from across a room.

Made to soften, deepen, and stay.
Jute, woven over 3 to 4 weeks at our Jaipur atelier. Tones may drift subtly across a piece. That drift is the maker's handwriting, and it deepens beautifully with years of light.
- Do not brush or scrub the rug.
- Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using the vacuum's beater brush mode.
- If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
- Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
- Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
- If a thread comes loose, do not pull the yarn. Trim it with scissors instead.
- Periodic professional cleaning is recommended.
